Like many others who enjoy comedies on Thursday nights, I was deeply saddened by the fact that the NBC comedy, The Office was cancelled last year. Sure, you may be thinking: get over it, it has been a year already, but I honestly do miss the bunch of lovable misfits. Luckily for me (and many other fans out there) we get to have a little part of that great show in The Mindy project, staring former office cutie, Mindy Kaling. It’s great to see someone like Mindy gracing the small screen. I often find that it is difficult to get into the reality of television today, simply because the leads are too attractive. Don’t get me wrong, I think Mindy is as cute as a button with an amazingly funny personality (and her Hermes bag shows us she has an great sense of style, too!) but she is a welcome relief to all of the Hollywood cookie cutter females we are bombarded with.
